Zee Zee: Schubert and Liszt – Wigmore Hall

Zee Zee presents a Piano Festival programme bringing together brilliant transcriptions and original works by Schubert and Liszt.

At its centre is Schubert’s Piano Sonata in C minor, a work that balances lyrical expression with Beethoven-inspired energy and dramatic contrast.

The recital concludes with two vivid works by Liszt: the luminous, almost mystical Les jeux d’eaux à la Villa d’Este and the dazzlingly virtuosic Tarantella.
