Rembrandt and Titus: Father and Son – The Wallace Collection
Discover a landmark exhibition at the Wallace Collection bringing together all of Rembrandt’s portraits of his son Titus for the first time.
Created in collaboration with the Rijksmuseum, Rembrandt and Titus: Father and Son will feature more than 20 works, including the Wallace Collection’s own late portrait of Titus alongside some of Rembrandt’s finest self-portraits. Together, the works trace Titus’s journey from boyhood to adulthood and offer a moving insight into the close relationship between father and son.
Highlights include Self-Portrait with Two Circles (1665–1669), on loan from English Heritage, alongside works from the National Gallery, Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna, Baltimore Museum of Art and the Musée du Louvre.
Taking place from 8 October 2027 to 16 January 2028, this ticketed exhibition offers a rare opportunity to explore one of the most personal chapters in Rembrandt’s life and work.
