Quirkiness and the Printed Image Lecture

This talk will highlight the material and technical qualities of printmaking, drawing attention to unique and unexpected features of prints since the 16th century. From cracked printing plates to masterful manipulations of line, audiences will gain a deeper understanding of the art form’s physical processes and how such quirks contributed to major innovations in printmaking.
