My Place: Group Exhibition – 67 York Street Gallery
Discover My Place, a thought-provoking group exhibition at 67 York Street Gallery bringing together eight artists from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Through painting, printmaking, photography, calligraphy, sculptural textiles, film and text art, the exhibition explores themes of identity, belonging, memory and location. Reflecting on what it means to find, claim, question and redefine one’s place in the world, the works offer both personal and collective perspectives shaped by different experiences and artistic practices.
Featuring artists James Swinson, Jane Madsen, Felix Swinson, Cynthia Larson-Richard, Justine Pearsall, Toseki An, Fiona Finlay and Jane Simmonds, My Place invites visitors into a rich conversation about how we situate ourselves within an ever-changing world.
