Mary Lawson in Conversation with Graham Norton – Daunt Books
Join author Mary Lawson and broadcaster Graham Norton at Daunt Books Marylebone for a special conversation celebrating Lawson’s new novel, Solace in Winter.
Set in the small Canadian town of Solace during the winter of 1969, the novel follows widower Jack as a series of unexpected arrivals disrupts his quiet life. Against the backdrop of the Vietnam War, an injured draft-dodger, an abandoned dog and a growing cast of characters bring questions of connection, responsibility and moral complexity to the fore.
Graham Norton, a long-time admirer of Lawson’s work, joins her to discuss the novel and the wider world of her bestselling and prize-winning fiction.
The event takes place on Tuesday 24 November from 7–8pm at Daunt Books Marylebone. Tickets are £12 and include a glass of wine or soft drink.
