Fail We May, Sail We Must – The Brown Collection

Discover six centuries of art from a new perspective at The Brown Collection with Fail We May, Sail We Must, a major new exhibition opening in Marylebone this autumn.

Curated by British artist Glenn Brown and museum co-founder Edgar Laguinia, the exhibition brings together 90 historic and contemporary works that reveal new meanings the longer you look.

Featured artists include Salvador Dalí, Anthony Caro, George Condo, Fiona Rae, Marion Adnams, Grace Pailthorpe, Walter Sickert and Glenn Brown, with works ranging from 16th-century Mannerism and grand historic portraiture to Surrealism and contemporary art.

Fail We May, Sail We Must runs from 25 September 2026 to 7 August 2027 at The Brown Collection, 1 Bentinck Mews. The museum is open Wednesday to Saturday, 10.30am–6pm, with free entry and no booking required.
