This winter, The Montagu Kitchen at the Hyatt Regency in Marylebone invites guests to journey north with its Lapland-Inspired Afternoon Tea, available from 6 November 2025 to 25 January 2026. Drawing inspiration from Father Christmas’ enchanting homeland, this seasonal experience blends Nordic nostalgia with festive indulgence.

Guests are welcomed with a charming boarding pass, setting the tone for an afternoon steeped in adventure. Thoughtful touches from luggage-tag details to a keepsake Polaroid snapshot, evoke the magic of winter travel, transforming the restaurant into a cosy escape full of Christmas charm.

The afternoon tea itself is a celebration of Scandinavian flavours and handcrafted festive delicacies. Savouries include Sweet Water Shrimp Tartelette, a delicate Butter Bread Roll and crisp Potato Rosti. T

he pastry selection brings a playful nod to Lapland, featuring Havreflarn, Pine Nut Chocolate Trees and an Almond and Vanilla Santa’s Belly, all served alongside warm scones paired with cloudberry jam.

Traditionalists can still enjoy classic plain or fruit scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream.

Available Thursday to Sunday, 1pm–5pm, the Lapland-Inspired Afternoon Tea is priced at:
• £59 per person with soft beverages
• £69 with a glass of brut champagne or alcohol-free sparkling wine
• £79 with a glass of rosé champagne
