Marylebone’s ever-popular Summer in the Square returns to Portman Square Garden this summer with a fresh roster of exciting outdoor activity that will help see the final week of the Wimbledon tournament out in style in one of London’s most special private gardens. 

Take part in a jam-packed schedule of free events next to the big screen with fitness classes, mending workshops, and plenty of kid-friendly activities. Enjoy a drink or a bite from a tempting array of street food stalls and enjoy local cuisine at our “Guest Kitchen”, where popular local restaurants will be on rotation, serving their most delicious dishes and ensuring the very best of Marylebone’s dining scene is always within arm’s length.

Guest Kitchen

The Guest Kitchen returns in 2025, once again bringing together a rotating line-up of some of Marylebone’s most beloved eateries. Each day, visitors can enjoy a different local favourite, offering a delicious snapshot of the neighbourhood’s diverse and vibrant food scene.

There will also be a curated selection of street food stalls, serving up something delicious for every taste. From gourmet bites to comforting classics, enjoy flavours from around the world in one place. Think crispy Korean fried chicken, soft bao buns, Greek and Mexican favourites – plus plenty more to discover, including expertly brewed coffee from a dedicated van. Come hungry and get ready for a vibrant culinary experience filled with bold, exciting global flavours!

Creative and Wellbeing Sessions

Sustainable wellbeing activities will be on offer throughout Summer in the Square with a range of workshops for the mind and body. Entry is free to the majority of activities, although visitors are encouraged to donate to Central London Samaritans.

Family Fun

Bring the whole family for hands-on fun with theatre workshops, dance classes, arts and crafts, and more. There’s something for every age – come play, create, and explore together.

Drinks Bar

There will be plenty of seating (including under cover), lounge seating and a big screen for those who want to watch all the sporting action, or who simply want to relax and enjoy some downtime and socialising. Our drinks partner Home House will be ensuring that visitors are also well-watered!

Can I reserve seats?
No, seats cannot be reserved. All seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Can I bring my dog?
No dogs are permitted in the Garden with the exception of assistance dogs. 

Can I bring food into the event?
Yes, drinks and food from outside vendors can be consumed on site.
