The Colour Monster Goes to School – Frameless
Step inside the colourful world of Anna Llenas’ beloved picture-book series with The Colour Monster Goes to School, a limited-time immersive residency at FRAMELESS.
Running from 14th August to 11th September 2026, the experience transforms the Blank Canvas Gallery into a vivid, multi-sensory journey through the Colour Monster’s first day at school. Full-scale illustrations, animation, spatial sound and colour bring the story to life, helping young visitors explore the excitement, curiosity and big feelings that can come with starting or returning to school.
For the first time at FRAMELESS, children can also become part of the artwork by colouring their own Colour Monster and watching their creation appear on the gallery walls, making every visit unique. Designed for children aged three to seven, the ten-minute experience runs on a continuous loop, allowing families to stay and enjoy the space for as long as they like.
