New exhibition “The Art of the Game” celebrates the art of chess in London this October.

The Art of the Game showcases not only these stunning chess sets but also includes a selection of paintings and drawings by participating artists, including Sophie Matisse – granddaughter of the renowned impressionist Henri Matisse, Bristol-born street artist Sickboy, and Polish-born artist Gosia Łapsa-Malawska, also Creative Director of Purling, whose works are inspired by the ‘Young Polish Movement’ and Japanese aestheticism. This unique blend of playable art pieces and visual art highlights Purling’s dedication to creating games that are both visually captivating and enjoyable to play.

Zsoka Gaal, Hungarian Woman International Master (WIM) of chess, is the official Brand Ambassador for Purling and will be attending the exhibition opening, alongside her trainer, Grandmaster Gabor Papp. Zsoka won the title of Woman International Master in 2021 at the age of 14 years old and is a legend in the chess world.
