Teresa Krasny: in Conversation – Daunt Books
Join Teresa Krasny and Financial Times Chief Art Critic Jackie Wullschläger at Daunt Books Marylebone for a special conversation exploring the life of Claude Monet through his letters.
The event celebrates Claude Monet: A Life in Letters, the first major English-language publication dedicated to the artist’s correspondence. Edited by Krasny, the book brings together around 420 letters written by Monet to family, friends, collectors, dealers and fellow artists, offering an intimate glimpse into his creative process, ambitions, relationships and financial struggles.
Published to mark the centenary of Monet’s death, the book is richly illustrated with artworks, photographs and reproductions of the letters themselves, revealing a more personal side to one of Impressionism’s most celebrated figures.
The event takes place on Thursday 29 October from 7–8pm at Daunt Books Marylebone. Tickets are £12 and include a glass of wine or soft drink.
