St Marylebone Festival: Free Lunchtime Concert
The beloved St Marylebone Free Lunchtime Concerts return this autumn in partnership with the Royal Academy of Music, offering audiences the chance to enjoy world-class performances in the heart of Marylebone.
On Friday 10th October 2025 at 1 PM, the Neruda Quartet will take to the stage at St Marylebone Parish Church for an inspiring afternoon of chamber music. Founded at the Royal Academy of Music in October 2024, the quartet pays tribute to Moravian violinist Wilma Neruda, one of the first female virtuosos and a pioneering figure in classical music.
Despite their recent formation, the Neruda Quartet has already made an impressive mark, representing the Academy at the International Orchestral Symposium at the Tianjin Juilliard School in May 2025 and performing across London and the UK. Their artistry has been shaped by guidance from renowned musicians including Marije Johnston, Anthony Marwood, Sini Simmonen, John Thorne, Levon Chilingarian, Yoanna Prodanova, and Jim Sleigh.
The quartet’s line-up features Adriana Bec (Violin), Yiu Hang Leung (Violin), Mina Mazur (Viola), and Jim Goss (Cello), four talented young artists whose shared passion for chamber music promises a performance of depth, precision, and emotion.
Join St Marylebone Parish Church for a beautiful lunchtime concert that celebrates new talent and timeless music, all within one of London’s most historic and atmospheric venues.
Admission is free of charge, with booking available in advance to secure your place.
