Spilt Milk: Exhibition – SQFT Space Gallery
Discover Spilt Milk, the debut London solo exhibition by award-winning figurative painter Ellis King, coming to SQFT: Space Gallery this October.
Set within intimate domestic spaces, the exhibition explores the moments we are often expected to move beyond, capturing feelings of frustration, grief, doubt and exhaustion before everyday routines resume.
Through quietly charged scenes, King gives space to experiences that are often overlooked or minimised, particularly those connected to womanhood, identity and resilience. The exhibition follows her selection as the recipient of the Women in Art Prize – SQFT: Space Gallery Exhibition Prize.
Spilt Milk opens with a private view on Thursday 1 October from 6–9pm, and continues by appointment Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, until 5 November.
