About
Families are warmly invited to a special autism-friendly morning at The Wallace Collection, designed for neurodivergent children and their loved ones. This relaxed, welcoming session offers the chance to explore our celebrated exhibition, Grayson Perry: Delusions of Grandeur, in a calm and supportive environment before the museum opens to the general public.
The morning will feature a variety of engaging, multisensory activities inspired by Perry’s playful yet thought-provoking works. Participants can respond creatively to the exhibition by crafting their own unique pieces of art to take home, with all materials provided and activities thoughtfully adapted to suit all ages, skill levels, and abilities.
This is more than a gallery visit; it’s an opportunity to connect with art in a way that feels personal, comfortable, and inspiring. By offering a quieter setting, families can enjoy the exhibition at their own pace, free from the usual crowds, while still engaging in stimulating, hands-on experiences.
Places are free of charge but must be booked in advance to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit for all. To reserve a spot, please email schools@wallacecollection.org.
