Pretty Little Fears: It’s Our Party, We’ll Cry If We Want To – BLEUR Gallery

Pretty Little Fears is an afternoon and evening of gentle exploration, creativity and connection at BLEUR Gallery in Marylebone. A space to pause, reflect and spend time with the quieter kinds of fear we all carry.

Rather than treating anxiety as something to fix or escape, the event invites visitors to notice it, sit with it and even reshape it through art, movement and conversation. Across a series of intimate workshops and a relaxed private view party, the gallery becomes a place for reflection, making, and shared experience.

The programme includes three ticketed workshops in the afternoon and early evening, each offering a different way to engage with inner tension: from reflective drawing and collage, to embodied awareness and nervous system practices. No experience is needed, just curiosity and an openness to explore.

As the evening unfolds, the space shifts into a private view party, with drinks, cake, music and conversation. It is a chance to gather, unwind, and mark the day together.

Workshops (ticketed, limited places):
– I Keep Driving Anyway (2–4pm): a reflective art workshop with Sabrina Ahmed exploring anxiety through the metaphor of a bus journey.
– Notes from My Nervous System (4–5pm): a quiet, embodied session with Louise Spurgeon focusing on awareness, grounding and inner listening.
– My Fears Look Better in Pieces (6–8pm): a playful collage workshop with Roberta DeCaro, transforming anxious thoughts into visual fragments.

Private View Party: 6–9pm
Drinks, cake, music and a relaxed evening atmosphere, open to all.
