Pretty Little Fears – BLEUR Gallery
Pretty Little Fears is a group exhibition presented by BLEUR Gallery & Studios exploring how anxiety shapes modern life — and how art can help make space for what often feels difficult to name.
With over 300 million people worldwide living with anxiety disorders, fear is increasingly part of everyday experience, yet it often feels deeply isolating. Pretty Little Fears responds to this shared reality by creating a gentle, open space for reflection, conversation and creative expression. The exhibition considers the quiet worries and lingering tensions that sit beneath the surface of daily life — from uncertainty about the future and work, to grief, change, connection and belonging.
Rather than offering answers, the exhibition invites visitors to pause with these feelings and notice them together — through artworks that are thoughtful, personal and emotionally resonant. In doing so, Pretty Little Fears seeks to soften the sense of isolation that fear can create, and to remind visitors that these inner experiences are widely shared.
The exhibition features work by Bardini Nini, Daniel Keys Photography, Denisha Anderson, Jemima Sara, Jennie Uwland, Maria Fynsk Norup, That Sewn Nicole and Rhea Gupte.
Alongside the exhibition, BLEUR presents a special opening day programme on Saturday 17 January, titled It’s Our Party, We’ll Cry If We Want To, with creative workshops and an evening celebration inviting visitors to reflect, make, connect and unwind together.
