Ohara Ikebana Workshop – Niwaki

Discover the Japanese art of ikebana at Niwaki on Chiltern Street with a hands-on workshop exploring the beauty of seasonal flower arranging.

Led by Ikebana Master Ruriko Kojima, this one-hour session will introduce participants to the key principles taught at Japan’s renowned Ohara School of Ikebana. Using two Niwaki kenzan, you’ll create arrangements inspired by traditional techniques, with a focus on seasonal plants, natural growth and the beauty of the surrounding environment.

No previous experience is required, with all tools and materials provided, refreshments included and a mini kenzan to take home at the end of the session. The workshop takes place on 16 August from 2pm–3pm.
