Join writer Nao-Cola Yamazaki and author Sharlene Teo at Daunt Books Marylebone for an evening discussing Don’t Laugh at Other People’s Sex Lives and Beautiful Distance.
A bestseller in Japan and winner of the Bungei Prize, Don’t Laugh at Other People’s Sex Lives is a tender and humorous portrait of late adolescence and an unpredictable love affair. Beautiful Distance takes a quieter, more intimate approach, exploring family, death and the small acts of love that shape our closest relationships.
Sharlene Teo, author of the award-winning novel Ponti, will lead the conversation, exploring the themes and ideas behind both books.
The event takes place on Wednesday 21 October from 7–8pm at Daunt Books Marylebone. Tickets are £12 and include a glass of wine or soft drink.
