Marc Riboud: Peace in the Making at Atlas Gallery

Atlas Gallery presents “Peace in the Making,” an exhibition of iconic works by renowned French Magnum photographer Marc Riboud (1923–2016). This collection captures moments of peace and resilience in a world shaped by war, featuring powerful images from Algeria, Afghanistan, Cambodia, Japan, China, and beyond.

Included is Riboud’s famous 1967 photograph of a young girl holding a flower before armed soldiers during an anti-Vietnam War protest—an enduring symbol of peaceful resistance. Through his lens, Riboud documented the universal pursuit of peace and the quiet strength of humanity.
