Look and Draw – The Wallace Collection

Explore colour, detail and composition with a creative drawing session inspired by two sumptuous still lifes in The Wallace Collection’s Large Drawing Room.

Led by artist and educator Karly Allen, the session begins with a closer look at the paintings, encouraging participants to slow down and observe their shapes, colours and finer details.

Using the museum’s iPads, visitors will then be guided through a digital drawing activity, creating their own colour composition in response to the works on display. No previous iPad or drawing experience is required.

Taking place on 10 September 2026 from 1pm to 1.45pm, the session is free to attend, with places allocated on a first-come, first-served basis on the day.
