Look and Draw – The Wallace Collection

This relaxed lunchtime session invites visitors to slow down and see art in a new way. Led by artist and educator Karly Allen, Look and Draw focuses on close observation of a portrait by Velázquez in the Great Gallery at The Wallace Collection.

Through gentle guided looking exercises and short, playful drawing prompts, participants are encouraged to notice textures, patterns and details they might otherwise miss.

No drawing experience is needed, and all materials are provided. It is a welcoming, informal way to connect with a masterpiece and enjoy a creative pause in the middle of the day.
