LGBTQ+ Ball – The Wallace Collection

This July, the Wallace Collection’s annual LGBTQ+ Ball returns to Hertford House for an evening where queer culture meets 18th-century extravagance. Set against the backdrop of one of London’s most beautiful museum collections, the event transforms the galleries into a vibrant celebration of performance, creativity and self-expression.

Curated by artist Sadie Lee, this year’s ball brings together powerful live performances, music, talks and artistic interventions inspired by the opulence and excess of the eighteenth century. Visitors are invited to embrace the spirit of the occasion, from elaborate dress and dazzling accessories to a shared sense of joy, community and celebration.

Taking place throughout the museum’s galleries, the evening offers a unique opportunity to experience the Wallace Collection after hours, with bars and music continuing late into the night. Part performance spectacle, part cultural gathering, it promises a memorable summer evening in one of London’s most remarkable settings.

The LGBTQ+ Ball takes place on Friday 3 July 2026 at the Wallace Collection.
