Thompson’s Gallery presents Field Days, bringing together works by Jane Price and James Tweedie RGI that explore the shifting character of the landscape through light, colour and composition.
While Price responds intuitively to atmosphere and the natural world, Tweedie combines close observation with a more structured approach, giving familiar scenes a subtly imaginative quality.
The exhibition also introduces Price’s recent Silent Language series, which marks a new figurative direction in her practice. Through delicate colour, pattern and precisely observed gestures, these works explore body language, human connection and the quiet communication that exists beyond words.
Together, the artists offer two distinct yet complementary perspectives, creating an exhibition filled with sensitivity, atmosphere and visual intrigue.
