International Women’s Day Collaborative Lunch at Cavita
This one-off International Women’s Day lunch brings together five trailblazing female chefs from around the world at Cavita, London. Adriana Cavita (Mexico), Ayesha Kalaji (Jordan/Middle East), Keshia Sakarah (Africa & Caribbean), Maria Bradford (Sierra Leone/Afro-fusion) and Sabrina Gidda (South Asia) will each create a course inspired by their heritage, blending tradition with contemporary creativity.
The event celebrates global culinary traditions, storytelling, and the role of women in hospitality, education, and food leadership. All profits will be donated to Refuge, the UK charity supporting women and children affected by domestic abuse.
The day begins at 12:30pm with a welcome drink and a live Q&A hosted by Justine Murphy (entrepreneur, talent manager, cookbook author and podcast host), where the chefs share their journeys, cultural influences, and insights into building careers in the UK food industry. This is followed by a five-course collaborative lunch, each course reflecting the chefs’ heritage.
