Experience the acclaimed period-instrument ensemble Il Pomo d’Oro as it opens its Wigmore Hall Residency.

Celebrated for its vibrant interpretations of Baroque and Classical repertoire, il Pomo d’Oro joins forces with the il Pomo d’Oro Choir for an evening dedicated to the music of Claudio Monteverdi.

Launching the ensemble’s residency, the programme features selections from Selva morale e spirituale, Monteverdi’s landmark collection of sacred works composed during his time at St Mark’s Basilica in Venice.

Performed with the ensemble’s trademark energy and historical insight, the concert offers a compelling celebration of one of the Baroque era’s most influential composers.
