György Kurtág Játékok Lecture at Wigmore Hall

Wigmore Hall is hosting a lecture titled “György Kurtág Játékok Lecture” on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 1:00 PM.

Renowned pianist and speaker Valeria Szervánszky, accompanied by pianist Ronald Cavaye, will delve into György Kurtág’s “Játékok” (“Games” in Hungarian), a continually evolving collection of piano pieces aimed at recapturing the joy of learning the instrument. The session will include both lecture elements and performances of selected pieces from “Játékok.” Tickets are priced at £15, and the event is expected to last approximately one hour without an interval.
