About
This November, immerse yourself in the serene world of Hyunia Jung, a celebrated watercolour artist whose work captures the quiet strength and vitality of nature. Her solo exhibition, Green Breeze, offers a delicate yet powerful reflection on the life, resilience, and grace found within the natural world.
Inspired by a lifelong love of flora, Jung’s fascination with plants began in childhood, sparked by the simple beauty of a lily of the valley. Today, that sense of wonder continues to flourish through her art. Each piece reveals the hidden energy beneath nature’s calm exterior: the unseen labour of roots, the perseverance of stems, and the fleeting glory of blossoms before the cold sets in.
Through vivid brushstrokes, expressive washes of colour, and fine Indian ink detailing, Jung translates the textures and emotions of the garden into radiant works on paper. Her paintings embody both movement and stillness.
Visitors are invited to experience this oasis of tranquillity and renewal from 6th to 11th November, open daily 11am – 7pm (closing at 3pm on the 11th). Green Breeze promises a gentle yet invigorating encounter with the world through the eyes of an artist who paints life in full bloom.
