Filling in the Gaps – Marylebone Parish Church Art Space

This art project represents the first time the history of the disabled people’s movement has been presented on a national scale.

Artist Michelle Baharier presents Filling in the Gaps at Marylebone Parish Church Art Space, London, from 25 February – 26 March 2025 as part of an ongoing national programme of portrait commissions for The London Transport Museum, funded in partnership by Arts Council England.

Filling in the Gaps features ten new portraits and marks the first time the history of the disabled people’s movement, told through portraits of disability rights activists who have shaped access and inclusion in public transport, has been presented at this scale.
