An exhibition of new tapestries from artist Christabel Balfour for London Craft Week.

“Unimagined Animal: Tapestries Made & Unmade” is a solo show of new work from artist and tapestry weaver Christabel Balfour. It explores the limitations of language, hearing and memory, using both the excavated imagery of the distant past and the material structure of tapestry itself.
