Veranda Books will be launching its inaugural Non-fiction Book Club with The Genius Myth: A Curious History of a Dangerous Idea by Helen Lewis.
Led by Alison, the evening offers the chance to discuss the book and explore how its ideas connect to the wider conversations shaping our time. Drawing on figures from Leonardo da Vinci to Elon Musk, Lewis traces the evolution of the concept of “genius” and considers whether our modern understanding of the term has distorted the way we think about creativity, achievement and collaboration.
