Artem Chapeye discusses ‘The Weathering’ – Veranda Books

Veranda Books are delighted to welcome Ukrainian writer Artem Chapeye to discuss his new novel ‘The Weathering’ (tr. Daisy Gibbons), which follows a couple who escape city life to the Ukrainian mountains, only to return to a changed reality.
Currently serving in the Ukrainian army, Artem will be in London for a brief visit and will be in conversation with Uileam Blacker, who specialises in East European Literature at UCL.
This promises to be an evening of lively and compelling conversation about Artem’s work – and a timely reminder of the ongoing (and increasingly forgotten) conflict at the edge of our continent.
