Annie Trevorah: The Dwelling – Nobu Hotel London Portman Square
Coinciding with Frieze London, Nobu Hotel London Portman Square presents The Dwelling, a new installation by London-based contemporary artist Annie Trevorah, presented by Mandy Zhang Art and curated by Joséphine May Bailey.
Taking the Earth as a shared home, The Dwelling brings together sculptural works that explore imagined ecologies and the shifting relationships between human, animal and landscape. Through hybrid forms that feel both familiar and otherworldly, Trevorah invites visitors to consider transformation, identity and our connection to the natural world. At the heart of the exhibition stands Becoming, a monumental sculpture that merges human and animal elements into a single form, challenging the boundaries between ourselves and the species with which we share the planet.
For a limited time, guests are invited to discover The Dwelling in the Whitebox at Nobu Hotel London Portman Square.
Continue the experience in The Lounge with the Annie Afternoon Tea, a limited-edition Frieze Afternoon Tea inspired by The Dwelling. Available from 9th to 31st October, the experience brings Trevorah’s artistic world to the table through a curated selection of sweet and savoury creations, presented on a bespoke Afternoon Tea stand inspired by one of her sculptural works.
