Step into a gloriously unconventional celebration of creativity, individuality and the natural world as Andrew Logan’s Alternative Miss World returns for its 16th edition.
Taking over Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre for one night only, Gaia explores the idea of Earth as a living, interconnected organism. Contestants will interpret the theme across three playful rounds of daywear, swimwear and evening wear, judged on poise, personality and originality by a distinguished panel.
First created in Andrew Logan’s Hackney studio in 1972, the spectacular pageant has welcomed figures including Divine, Grayson Perry, David Hockney and Derek Jarman. Its latest incarnation promises another joyful evening of bold costumes, organised chaos and extraordinary self-expression beneath the open skies of Regent’s Park.
